Lead technical oversight and service delivery across Volta’s EMEA data centres. Manage site operations, IT infrastructure, logistics, assets, vendors, customer relationships, compliance, safety, uptime, risk, incident response, change control, and energy efficiency. Build and develop regional operations teams, enforce consistent standards, oversee high-risk activities, manage critical suppliers and SLAs, and serve as the senior escalation point for operational issues.

Lead EMEA project and portfolio risk management across complex infrastructure programs. Establish governance, maintain risk registers, perform qualitative and quantitative cost and schedule analysis, develop contingency recommendations, oversee EPC and commercial risks, deliver executive dashboards, conduct assurance reviews, and drive continuous improvement. Partner closely with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, project controls, and leadership to identify, mitigate, escalate, and manage systemic and correlated risks.

Owns day-to-day safety for Volta’s Nordic construction project, including contractor oversight, inductions, inspections, audits, incident investigations, corrective actions, regulatory compliance, safety reporting, and coaching site teams. The role establishes site safety culture and applies company safety standards across live project activities.

Owns Volta’s safety strategy, standards, and management system across construction projects. Leads embedded safety professionals, establishes contractor safety requirements, conducts audits and assurance programs, investigates incidents, develops risk-leading reports, ensures regulatory compliance across European jurisdictions, and integrates safety into project design reviews. The role requires safety leadership across data center or mission-critical construction programs, contractor management expertise, and regular travel across European sites.

Owns Volta’s enterprise contracting strategy across data center and major capital projects. Establishes standard contract forms, flow-downs, commercial terms, governance, approvals, and compliance across jurisdictions. Leads major negotiations, claims avoidance, and disputes while providing functional leadership to project-embedded contracts teams. The role also develops commercial capability across the delivery organization and requires travel across project sites.

Owns quality strategy, standards, and management systems across Volta’s data center construction projects. Leads embedded quality teams, establishes inspection and testing standards, manages vendor quality and factory surveillance, oversees non-conformance and root-cause resolution, defines commissioning quality requirements, and conducts audits across active sites. The role also drives right-first-time practices and cross-project learning while traveling regularly to European locations.

Owns end-to-end procurement for Volta’s Nordics infrastructure project, including strategy, tenders, negotiations, long-lead electrical and mechanical equipment, supplier performance, inspections, expediting, logistics, customs, and site delivery. The role applies fleet category strategies while coordinating closely with project, contracts, quality, manufacturing, and logistics teams. Candidates must have procurement experience on data center or major capital projects and be willing to be based in the Nordics through delivery.
