Design and operate distributed execution systems for customer workflows. Build scalable Python backend services on AWS, contribute to AI initiatives including MCP servers and agentic copilots, and own architecture, deployment, monitoring, and incident response. Collaborate with Product and Design, make architectural decisions, mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and improve development processes and tooling.

Lead 3–5 cross-functional, end-to-end programs for the Platform team, driving enterprise readiness, security and audit/compliance efforts, and AI enablement. Coordinate engineers, product, security, sales, and legal, create clear plans, dashboards, and outcomes, and hold senior ICs and EMs accountable to delivery.

Build and operate Taktile's IAM and permissions platform end-to-end: design RBAC/ReBAC models, implement authN/authZ (SSO/OAuth/OIDC), ensure multi-tenant isolation and high-performance fine-grained permission checks, create audit trails, and work across React/TypeScript front-end and Python (FastAPI) backend on AWS serverless.

Build and scale internal AI tools and agents that integrate the SaaS stack into company workflows. Identify high-leverage automation opportunities, design and ship production-grade Python systems, ensure governance and security, drive adoption through training, and iterate on AI architecture and tooling.

The Senior Backend Engineer will develop backend services in Python on AWS, tackle performance challenges, and make key architectural decisions while mentoring team members and collaborating with product and design.

Own and automate continuous compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, customer security reviews), run Vanta end-to-end, manage access and vendor risk reviews, respond to customer security questionnaires and DPAs, define compliance KPIs, and partner with Security, Engineering, Product, and Legal to close policy-to-control gaps.
