Leads Focus Ireland’s finance function, including team management, management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow, statutory reporting, audit, financial controls, funder compliance, and governance reporting. The role provides financial insight and challenge to senior leaders, boards, committees, and budget holders; oversees payroll, payments, reconciliations, risk management, and asset protection; and improves finance systems, reporting processes, automation, data quality, and organisational financial capability.

Supports Focus Ireland’s individual giving programme through direct marketing appeals, newsletters, email campaigns, donor journeys, CRM administration, audience segmentation, and campaign coordination. Sources and summarizes authentic stories from services by building relationships with customers and staff. Assists with print production, database management, Christmas campaigns, and collaboration across fundraising, donor care, digital, brand, and external agencies.

Manage supplier payments and accounts payable processes: own supplier profiles, ensure invoices are approved and paid timely, prepare monthly creditor reconciliations, maintain aged creditors listing, review purchase orders/quotes, prepare inter-company journals, assist with audits, support finance team and non-finance staff on AP/system queries, and meet month-end deadlines.
