Leads the design, governance, and continuous improvement of Apex Group’s enterprise risk management framework. Oversees risk taxonomy, appetite, assessments, controls, incidents, business continuity, policy governance, scenario testing, reporting, and risk technology initiatives. Partners with executive leadership, the Board, regulators, and regional risk teams to provide oversight, escalation, and constructive challenge. Leads the Risk Framework team, promotes risk culture, and supports major incident response and enterprise risk transformation.

Monitors investment risks for funds, ensuring compliance with investment objectives, policies, and regulatory restrictions. Develops risk analytics and reporting, supports fund launches and risk framework implementation, prepares board materials, escalates material risks, and drafts risk documentation for client onboarding and due diligence. The role also involves liaison with investment managers, administrators, depositaries, legal firms, and senior stakeholders.

Oversee private equity fund accounting, including NAV reconciliation, capital and income distributions, waterfall and fee calculations, financial statement preparation, and regulatory reporting. Manage relationships with investment managers, investors, auditors, brokers, custodians, and outsourced offices. Ensure client service standards, reporting accuracy, compliance, and internal deadlines. Supervise, train, and recruit accounting staff while maintaining accounting and client relationship systems.

Oversee private equity fund accounting, including NAV reconciliations, waterfall and fee calculations, distributions, financial statements, and regulatory reporting. Manage relationships with investment managers, auditors, brokers, custodians, investors, and outsourced offices. Ensure compliance with deadlines and fund requirements, supervise and train accounting staff, support recruitment, and maintain accurate client, accounting, revenue, and management information systems.

The Risk Manager will oversee fund risk management, engage with senior management, and assist in compliance and reporting for investment funds.

Manage compliance with local laws regarding AML and CFT, support compliance operations, assess risks, and prepare compliance reports for various entities.
