Global fintech company Payoneer has acquired Boundless, a Dublin-based Employer of Record platform that enables businesses to hire and manage employees worldwide, as part of its effort to support small and medium-sized businesses operating across borders.

Payoneer announced on Tuesday that managing global accounts payable remains a challenge for cross-border SMBs, as limited staff capacity and complex local regulations can make it difficult to run payroll accurately, on time and in compliance with local laws.

The acquisition of Boundless strengthens Payoneer’s workforce management capabilities in Europe and deepens its presence in Ireland, building on the Dublin hub it established in 2020 to manage regional operations following Brexit.
