Ekco, a Dublin-based managed security services provider, has acquired Datalogix, marking its eighth acquisition in the past two years.
According to a news release, Datalogix specializes in operational technology, delivering infrastructure design, implementation and support services to enterprise clients, with a focus on automating industrial processes across critical national infrastructure sectors.
As part of the deal, Datalogix’s employees will join Ekco’s security division, which is expected to bring the division’s annual revenues to €100 million, representing half of the company’s total group revenues of €200 million.
Ekco said the acquisition will strengthen its OT capabilities across multiple markets and support customers seeking secure convergence between IT and OT environments.
“Having known Datalogix well for many years, we have always admired their highly specialized and client-focused capabilities as trusted OT advisors in the life sciences, pharmaceutical and critical national infrastructure markets. With Ekco’s world-class expertise in security-first managed services and cutting-edge technology, this partnership is a perfect match — and we are looking forward to growing and learning together,” Steve MacNicholas, CEO of Ekco Ireland, said in a statement.
The acquisition follows Ekco’s recent purchases of Predatech, Solsoft and Adapt IT as the company continues to expand its platform across Europe.
