Block, a tech and financial services company working to fuel economic empowerment, opened a new office at One Park Place in Dublin. Situated within Dublin’s business district, Block’s new office further supports its commitment to investing in talent, innovation and community development across Europe.

The new office is designed for Block’s distributed-first work model while offering ample space for collaboration and more. It features a hands-on product demo lab for sellers and partners, 50 dynamic workstations to support different work styles and dedicated areas for community engagement.

Block’s Dublin office will serve as a strategic hub within the European financial services sector, enabling the company to facilitate policy engagement dialogue across industries, connect sellers across Europe and Dublin as well as attract and develop skilled financial services talent.

“Ireland has established itself as one of Europe’s leading financial services hubs,” John O’Beirne, CEO of Square International at Block, said in a statement. “Block’s investment here reflects our confidence in the region’s regulatory environment, entrepreneurial spirit and the calibre of talent available. We’re committed to being an active partner in Dublin’s continued economic success.”
