Allegion, a Dublin-based company specializing in security products and solutions, has expanded its reach by acquiring Brisant Secure Limited, a regional provider of security hardware.

According to a news release, Brisant’s product range will enhance Allegion’s mechanical security portfolio. Brisant, which is based out of Dewsbury in West Yorkshire, will join the Allegion International segment to enhance the company’s regional footprint and support its non-residential offerings, which were recently expanded with the acquisition of UAP Limited earlier this month.

As part of the deal, Kevin Harvey, the former managing director of Brisant, will join Allegion to help ensure a smooth transition.
