The Role
We are looking for a Team Lead for our Desktop Browser team - an experienced C++ engineer with strong knowledge of Chromium who can contribute to core development tasks right away, while also leading the team in planning and execution.
You’ll work closely with our technical lead, who focuses on architecture and deep technical design, while you take responsibility for team coordination, delivery and collaboration.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being a hands-on engineer but is ready to grow as a team leader - balancing code, communication and people.
What You’ll Do

  • Contribute directly to the Chromium-based codebase, implementing and maintaining core browser features.
  • Debug complex issues across multiple Chromium layers, ensuring stability and performance.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor team members to achieve performance targets.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-oriented work environment.
  • Conduct regular check-ins, feedback sessions and performance evaluations.
  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate training or development opportunities.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, including hands-on work with Chromium or Chromium-based projects.
  • Strong C++ skills and understanding of browser internals, multi-process architecture, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to take ownership of features and deliver high-quality results independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, comfortable leading discussions and supporting others.
  • Interest in team leadership and delivery management, not just individual technical contribution.
  • Proactive, structured approach to problem-solving and planning.
