Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Frontend React Developer with over 5 years of experience.
- Developing new user-facing features using React.js.
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code.
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices. including smart TVs, set-top boxes and gaming consoles.
- Experience with development and debugging on TV targets like Samsung Tizen, LG WebOS, Microsoft Xbox or Sony PlayStation.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
- Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux).
- Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
The front-end team builds applications to run on millions of smart TVs and game consoles and provides the best user experience for watching video on-demand (movies and series) and live sport streams. As a WebTV developer, you’ll shape how users engage with technology for global clients like World Wrestling Entertainment, National Football League, DAZN, Bell Media, Discovery Channel, Britbox, etc.
