As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing accounting records and budgeting for our Group companies. The ideal candidate is expected to have a solid background in accounting, work independently, take initiative, and deliver accurate financial solutions.

Responsibilities


  •  Organize and maintain full-cycle accounting in SAP software for several Group companies
  • Manage accruals, journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end and year-end closings
  • Process invoices and reconcile payments promptly and accurately
  • Verify supporting documents for proper payment execution
  • Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Prepare tax workings and tax returns submission (CPT, VAT, WHT, etc.) for assigned companies
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries
  • Perform various ad hoc tasks and projects as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with SAP accounting software and JIRA
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support colleagues when needed
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of financial information
