Fidelity Investments Cybersecurity Internship Program

Location: Citywest Business Campus, Dublin

Placement Dates: March 23rd – August 21st 2026

An internship at Fidelity Investments offers you hands-on work experience, along with structured learning to develop your professional skills and help you prepare for your future. Successful students will get hands on technical experience working in the field of Cybersecurity with one of our application security teams. You will get an opportunity to learn about application security vulnerabilities and the ethical hacking techniques companies use to identify and fix them. You will undergo professional training in areas such as your personal brand, communication, and presentation through a group challenge.

  • Passion: A strong interest in learning about Cybersecurity and new technologies including the techniques hackers use to attack companies and the steps engineers can take to protect their applications.
  • Technical Aptitude: Demonstrates ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools and demonstrate this knowledge in day-to-day work. Attention to detail and follow-through on all tasks.

The Value You Deliver

Working under close supervision with direction, performing tasks in your designated function, you will:

  • Contribute to the testing efforts on Fidelity's web and mobile applications and supporting systems.
  • Replicate the actual techniques and tools used by malicious attackers in an effort to model potential external threats.
  • Upon completion of the assessment, you will prepare reports and present the results to application owners, developers, and business unit information security teams.
  • Proactively help development teams to build secure code.
  • Contribute to the research or development of tools to assist in the vulnerability discovery process.
  • Collaborate with other teams within Enterprise Cybersecurity to improve the overall security of Fidelity's applications and infrastructure.
  • Stay current on security best practices and vulnerabilities.

Who Should Apply

Students with a real passion for technology/cybersecurity with grades of 2.1 or higher
