Working under the guidance of a controller, you will provide valuable support in the preparation of financial statements of international companies that adhere to regulatory and accounting guidelines. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the company’s accounting and financial processes meet established standards, promoting accurate financial reporting and effective control. What you'll do:
- Support most aspects of accounting management (invoicing, journal entries, account reconciliation, reporting, etc.);
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data;
- Assistance in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with official international guidelines and requirements;
- Participate in preparation for the annual statutory audits of the group’s companies internationally;
- Review the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances;
- Utilize accounting IT system to facilitate processes and maintain records.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;
- 1-3 years of relevant professional experience – ideally in a multinational environment;
- Excellent command of English both written and oral; Second language will be considered as an asset;
- Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations;
- Solid knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting, etc.);
- Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (e.g. Navision, SAP, etc) 1-2 years of relevant professional experience;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced international environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
